Sticky Fingers is a great BBQ place right in the Concord Mils Mall parking lot. I think Sonny's BBQ is better though, which is located right off the Concord Mills exit. Razzoo's, which is right next to Sticky Fingers, is a cajun place that certainly brings the spice if you're into that. If you're interested in Mexican, On The Border is very good, and is also in the mall parking lot. There are several Cook-Out resturants in the area, one of which is right off the Concord Mills exit. They have a large menu of fast southern food that is very cheap, and we stop almost every night for their milkshakes, as they are typically open till 3 or 4 am. Brixx Wood Fired Pizza in downtown Charlotte is a regular stop of ours as well. They offer a large selection of specialty pizzas and are reasonably priced. If you happen to be in town and want some sweets, Amelie's French Bakery is on the north end of Charlotte and is very good. I do believe they're open 24/7 as well.

It isn't real close to the track, but worth the trip.

Instead of the same old chain crap, stop by Mert's on N. College Street. Best southern food going.

Huck,

If you stay up by the track its pretty nice. Once you get down off of 85 south of the track it gets pretty rough down that way.
