I have seen the video, that was the most outrageous display of delinquent driving I've seen in a while. I guess if you want your trucks to win, you have someone take out the competition. You know me i can't help but put my two cents in . He might of slide up. But the drive through was uncalled for. just saying!

IMO its sucks it happened but it was a driving error, and those things happen. He has apologized repeatedly for it, i know apologies dont put trucks back together but there is not much more he can do. Yes he drove to hard into the turn and slid up the track and got into the back of the 71 but every driver has made a mistake an error at some point. But to insinuate that he was sent out there to take out the competition is ridiculous

Well Sammie, your right, it was a stupid piece of driving. Im the one who wrecked the 71. Ive apologized about 600 times on facebook, and it has tainted my Eldora experience. I made a simple driving error (pushed the clutch instead of the brake) when I panic'd and seen that I had made an entry error. I wrecked someone and I felt terrible for it. To be honest I still do. Sorry does not put race cars back together, but I hope they understand the fact that I made a mistake. To my credit, this is my 2nd time racing with a stick shift (coming from the compacts with an automatic). The comments from the peanut gallery dragging the wreck out are honestly whats continuing this on. Chris and I have talked since, and he understands I feel terrible. Im pretty sure the 71 and 33 are set up pretty much the same, and I think the 10 and the 1s were set to do battle to win the race. I was asked by Charlie Overley to drive the old 10B truck for him at the last waynesfield race, and this Eldora race. Im 100% sure he did not say "take the hicks truck out so our guys can win". Both the Hicks and I were talking for awhile while we waited for the feature, and I thought they were both pretty cool people. If you cant accept that I made a mistake, then I guess thats your fault. Every race car driver has made one, and I made quite the costly one. However, Im not sure that I had to dump the 71 to advance from 12th to 3rd, but its whatever. Tell the rest of the Peanut Gallery to have fun cheering for the 1* super truck next season at Waynesfield Raceway Park, because as far as Im concerned, the Hicks and I have talked, and its over between us. hey if the hick's are cool with it thats great. When you hit the wrong petal thats why it looks bad on video. Glad to know it was all straightend out between all parties involved . and know body got hurt really bad. Things happen fast out their, sometimes you have to learn to walk before you run. Good luck to everyone on the off season ,have outstanding fun on the holidays, hope to see you next year!

Im sure they still arent happy, but I think they understand. We will be back, and come out hopefully strong. Waiting to hear what rule changes will be made (would be nice if they would be out by end of the december so we know what we have to do), as I have heard some things will be changed to the trucks.

I agree with that,we have a great class with good turn out. Everyone gets along fore the most part. You hear this all the time about the rules who knows what they think. It would be great to know a head of time. Most guyes don't wait till march to start getting ready for the next season when your on a tight budget you have to start now to make your plans to be ready.
