Danny Holtgraver Pleased To Announce Big Plans For 2013!!!

Posted Image

Pittsburgh, PA (11/17/12) – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native and former Lernerville Speedway track champion, Danny Holtgraver, is pleased to announce that he will be teaming up with Bryan Grove and Rob Hunter for the 2013 racing season. Holtgraver will be the new full-time pilot of the familiar Canton Erectors/Alternative Power Sources/DKW Transport/Berlin Natural Bakery no. 45 ’410′ sprint car; powered by J&J Chassis, Kistler Engines, VRP Shocks, Winters Rear Ends, ButlerBuilt, and Simpson racing products. Brian Kemenah, who jumped on board with Danny Holtgraver Motorsports during the 2012 racing season, will also make the switch to the ’45′ program in 2013 and become the crew chief of the all-new B&R Racing operation.

I am really excited for this opportunity to race the ’45′ car full-time.” said Holtgraver, “Bryan and Rob worked extremely hard to get this deal together for me for the upcoming season…Brian Kemenah is going to be the team’s crew chief and team manager…everybody played a huge part in getting this team up and running…I can’t wait until February!

The 2013 season will end a 17 year-long relationship between Danny Holtgraver and his father, Dan, as a driver/owner combination; most recongnized for their recent years in ’410′ sprint car competition. Holtgraver raced for his father for many seasons in the ‘D4′ sprinter; earning 24 sprint car wins together, as well as a Lernerville Speedway track championship.

I really can not thank my father enough” explained Holtgraver, “My dad worked really hard to get me where I am today…him and I raced for almost 20 years…from go-karts to sprint cars…he’s always been there for me and backed me from the start…he is still playing a big part in this new team by supporting our progress…I just can’t thank him enough!

Although the B&R Racing ’45′ operation is set to begin competition as early as February, no detailed schedule has been determined or released. Information regarding Danny Holtgraver’s 2013 racing schedule will be released in the near future- right here at www.fullyinjected.com.

It’s going to be a great season” said Holtgraver about 2013, “This team is working so hard already…I can’t wait until the season starts!

================================================

Danny Holtgraver and B&R Racing would like to thank all of their marketing partners including: Canton Erectors, Berlin Natural Bakery, Alternative Power Sources, DKW Transport, J&J Chassis, Kistler Engines, VRP Shocks, Winters Rear Ends, ButlerBuilt, Simpson, and FullyInjected.com.

When in doubt....GAS IT!!

That's good news , he's going to win a bunch of races in that car . But with no driver for the D4 car does this mean Sarah Schrum will be piloting it ?

The D4 car was owned by Danny's dad, so no. Their full attention will be with the 45 team this year.

The D4 will be idle in 2013 except for nights when Danny isn't scheduled to race the 45 car, then he will be racing the car himself .

When in doubt....GAS IT!!

Sarah Schrum is the daughter of Jeff Schrum a very accomplished driver until his body was attacked with bile duct cancer Jeff left a visible imprint on the sprint scene a few tears ago ,Sarah for those that may be intrested has some experience in midgets she ran the Manzinita track and would have been in a full time ride sponsored by her dad if cancer had not taken his life. The Schrums are very nice people and to those that take the time to know their history are highly regarded for their love and devotion to the racing scene. If given the opportunity I am sure Sarah would emulate her fathers accomplishments as well as his desire to see her in a sprint car. I have not made it practice to endorse many on this board but feel deeply about the desire of a child whether male or female to finish their parents dream for them, there is another well known Sarah and she has acccomplished much in the seat of a sprint car. Praying for all the kids that love their parents and racing Chaplain Bill

Paul McMahan, Rob Chaney, Tim Shaffer, Tim Hunter, and Bryan Grove himself. Probably a few others for short stints.

I think I remember Kenny Jacobs driving for Hunter around 2006 or so, correct?
