Hello there I am new to this message board. I am a big sprint car fan in California and I am going to Pittsburg on the weekend of June 16th and I really want to go to either a 360 or 410 sprint car race in PA or OH. Where is the best place to go that has a weekly sprint series (less than about 200 miles away)? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thank you for your advice. What track is better for the best racing(lots of passing)? I will probably be able to go just one track.

Really niether!!! Depends on the on all conditions.... Lennerville is banked 28 dogrees if I am correct, Sharon is more flat with 7-8 degree all around and can be wider with ajusted inside to make everyone more even.

What do you think is the best track for passing in the PA and OH area? I know that we have mostly bullrings (1/4 mile tracks) here in CA, but I like them because they usually have lots of passing. Our only 1/2 mile track in Northern CA (Calistoga) is fast but very little passing. I want to see more 1/2 tracks so I will probably go to Learnerville. In my opinion the best tracks in CA are Chico, Placerville (1/4), Tulare, Hanford (1/3), and Perris (1/2).

If you want to see the best show in PA? Go to Williams Grove out in CentraL PA., about 3 hours east of Pittsburgh....

Pittsburgh is 1/2 mile on the INSIDE ... Dirt ... But they havent run Sprints there for several years .. Dale Blaney was a champion there in the late 90's
They really ... REALLY .. hauled ass around there!!!
Lernervile is the track !!. and in june they have the Silver crown race .. was won by Casey Kane in 1996 I believe. Kinser wins there allot .. and yes there is Lots of Passing !!
Its also owned now by Dirt Motorsports .. who runs the WOO ..
I never been to Sharon .. but its the Oldest Opperating dirt track in the USA.. owned by Dave Blaney Family .. ;)

Also right down the road in elwood is a Go-Kart track that has sprint Go-Karts if you have the need to slide sideways with a wing on top
