Lernerville 410 Sprints back on Hoosier Tires!
Compounds and prices announced for 2013 season

Sarver, PA (December 20, 2012) Lernerville Speedway is proud to announce that the 410 DIRTcar Sprints will be back on Hoosier Racing Tires for the 2013 season. This four-corner Hoosier tire rule is a five-year deal between the Lernerville Speedway and Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic that will also apply the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup and Commonwealth Clash sanctioned by the World of Outlaws, the All Star Circuit of Champions sanctioned races at the speedway, as well as the season ending DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede.

Of the new deal, Lernerville Speedway General Manager Gary Risch Jr. stated, “We’re thrilled to extend our ongoing relationship with Hoosier Racing Tires and Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic to include the Sprints once again. We’d like to thank the folks at Goodyear Racing Tires and Big Daddy’s Speed Shop for all their help and support the last three years.”

Hoosier Tire-Mid-Atlantic/Precise Racing Products General Manager has released detailed compound, wheel size and pricing information as listed below.

How much are tickets I see that if you buy 5 or 10 you save money but how much money and what if it rains out. And can you take someone with you like use 2 tickets the same night or do you have to go 6 or 12 times I might go 6 times but if I don't go 12 times I don't want to get that package because I don't want to lose out on money if I can't use 2 tickets on the same night or if it rains on a night I have tickets

Is the sprint car portion of the Steel City Stampede raincheck event gonna run on the old tire rules,or the new tire rules???? Would be a good opportunity to compare,I would think.....

I guess I won't be running the ville in the next 5 years. Tire rules suck. Pretty soon they will tell you what underwear you have to wear.

I would like to race at Lernerville this year but with all the membership and registration fees and tire rules it just doesn't make sense for a local racer. That's why the BOSS series is the best and most affordable sprint racing around.NO TIRE RULES, NO MEMBERSHIP OR REGISTRATION FEES!AND NO PENALTIES IF YOU DO WANT TO RACE ANOTHER SERIES ONCE IN AWILE. GOOD OLD FASHIONED SPRINTCAR RACING.

Time to stop complaining about tire rules. This isn't the first time they've had a tire rule. Chances are, it won't be the last. Either get on board with it or race something else. The constant bickering about these types of things gets old. Racetracks and series do what they have to do to stay in business. If you own sprint car and running a Hoosier on all four corners isn't feasible for you, then race somewhere else (good luck finding a sprint car track that races every week that isn't on Hoosiers) or sell your sprint car and do something else.

Every legit 410 track in the entire country has a tire rule. Singling out one track for it that you never run is a chickenshit amateur move.

You hear the same crying everytime a tire rule is introduced. Theor old stuff from last year wont be useable ... I have bad news if your racing to win your old stuff from last year is junk anyway. Buying new tires is part of racing... but i do think they should allow a soft enough tire that pevents people from juicing them..

Skip, you barely ran there when you had a 410, before WRG bought the place, way before any tire rules. Why the hell would you even care about it now? Hell, it's not like it's been a secret ever since the middle of the season when Goodyear announced it was getting out of Sprint Car racing that there would be a tire brand change.

Vinny....no offense...but there was only one night they had 14 cars....other nights that were less than 20, they had 15, 17, and 18....all the other nights were 20 or more....

I have been to Lernerville every year since it started. And I keep that going by going once a year. Just no longer care to be involved in something that demeans the owners and drivers. It is so sad.

Gonna start supporting a track that doesn't have some sort of time rule for any of its classes? Good luck finding that.

Tire rules blow, but racing is so expensive for racer and track operator both that they will always have to sell their souls to the almighty dollar. I hate it, but unless you have a major outbreak of unity in the racing racket and everybody quits trying to cut each other's throats, many tracks will need to keep making tire deals to stay in business.
