My son has a cavalier that burns the center of the spark plug out melting the valve out anyone have a idea what could cause this it is a street car not sure what the he.. if it is a computer problem or a fuel problem any help is appriciated thank you and merry christmas

Is this a stock cavalier with no performance upgrades? And is it the center two spark plugs that are burning? It's probably a bad head gasket with warped head if it is the center two plugs that are doing it. Ive repaired many 2.2 engines that have had the same problem and most of them will run completely normal too! Has this car over heated recently? Good luck
