That's a terrible idea. Was there actually somebody out there that asked for more daytime racing?

probably has to do with the fact that it still could be cold as shit at night...at least they are trying to race...could be worse, amp has a thing that says it has to be up 50 to race....

IMO someone will get seriously hurt from the dust (you cant prep a track in a few hrs) and the sun light. Seen tracks do it before and the racing sucked like the dtwc this yr, boring race. Plus dont people work daylight saturdays?

i guess mr. miley doesn't care that some of us have jobs that we have to be at during the day. personally i think they will lose fans by doing this and possibly some cars if someone wanted to come from out of the area. i think a good plan would be to have the races scheduled for the normal time and if the cold makes you cancel on saturday night then run sunday afternoon. i would never just flat out plan for afternoon racing

Comparing the cars that race at ppms to haggerstown (eckert, richards, ect) big differance in national talent to weekly.

Eckert and Richards run only special events at Hagerstown, and by the way, Hagerstown doesn't even run Super Late Models on a weekly basis anymore. And when's the last time anyone passed on the outside at Hagerstown. You people kill me.

When my dad ran late model years ago.. He won a consi from the top! He had some good runners behind him. We about shit our pants!!! When he went up there.. we thought wtf!!! But he hit every corner perfect.. Inches from the wall. A race I will never forget.

When Randy Grove prepped the track (back when your dad raced) there were always two grooves. Sadly, since he left, things have never been the same.

The day races are so they can make the officials put Jared Miley up front and no one can pass him on the one groove track.
