Anybody doing any work on there cars? Lets see the rule changes are up - made by lasky. But we don't know if lasky is. even running the track. Besides that will the rules be enforced if he does or ignored as usual.or will he enforce them on some and not all. I am certain some will be ignored like the charger rules-whats he gonna do if a guys wheel wells and stock floor pan are removed? So we cant get an answer on the track and who's running but we r supposed to make changes? I truly wished I liked dirt because this is some real b.s.. the general concesus is we would love for mileys to take the track back. Maybe we would know wat the hell is going on. We aren't changing anything at the eleventh hour- we will either be allowed to run what we ran last year or we wont run. Situation normal all f'd up. Next time some idiot gets on here and says his grateful we all should be for our selfless promoters- I hope they choke on their words. Joel minjock- minjock racing. P.s. I know asphalt racing suks- they should make it dirt.......saved u the time.

wish i knew. i have worked there quite a few years, have not heard anything yet.according to the web site there is a total of 12 races scheduled.lose 2 or 3 to rain just dont make much sense even opening for the season.either have a full season or let someone different mileys or otherwise run it before lasky runs it into the ground more than he already has.just look at the poor fan count all of last year even for half price nights.the racers and fans deserve more than what lasky has to offer.but also do we really want the mileys back just look at some of the posts about all the crap at ppms.would it just be cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Never had a problem w mileys when they ran the track. They at least listen to suggestions. They were fair overall. Attend ppms regularly and honestly they seem to be heading in the right direction. Ill gladly take the chance and I know a lot of guys feel the same.

Seems as though I asked about floor pans and firewalls yesterday and it does not just refer to any particular track.

We also will not run at motordrome if Lasky run it again this year. The rule changes are a joke. We would not ever consider putting on a show for stan lasky again being we didn't get paid for racing there last year. He took our entry fee and tire money. we put on his show and he never paid us. I totally agree that the rules need to stay as they were so that people don't have to spend more money and the mileys need to step in and take over.

4effer-you asked on a different post. Not here. Stock firewalls and floor pans have always been the rule at drome- albeit stock floorpan has largely been ignored and def. not enforced-as well as stock suspension such as shocks/trailing arm lengths...if they enforced the rules and didn't allow cars to run w these infractions half the cars would be gone. The track has ignored these kind of rules so long that noons could blame a guy for doing it as he sees others getting away w it week after month after year. Say wat u will mileys weren't like that. What they need to do is impose weight or % infractions on these cars and still let them run. This is for the charger division.

Even if Stan does run the track he is forcing people to sit out because of the rule changes. If you have a crate motor you will have to take it to someone and have it resealed, and the mods will have to run on those streetstock tires (commanchis) witch was tried before and did not work for such a light car. people just don't have the money year after year to keep up with his rule changes.

I have watched first hand legal , legitimate protests be denied , favoritism played like you wouldn't believe, races canceled due to lack of fans , rain out policy's manipulated for financial gain, actions detrimental to the sport be completely ignored for some but seen others nailed to the proverbial wall for the same actions , race directors quit in the middle of a race , green flags thrown on soaking wet unsafe conditions , prices raised for no legitimate reason etc etc ... I'm not going to say where I witnessed this but ill let you figure it out ... I will also say I seen none of this at eldora , but
Yet some use the excuse " it's eldora " well there's a fuc&ing reason eldora is successful and maybe others should take note !!!

Jmmr why do we have to keep hearing you cry.take your ball and go home you said that there wouldn't be five of your cars there this year.just go away.the only reason your so upset about the ss rules is because your chassis won't pass tech and your crate motor wont pass the sealing process.as far as the comanches go ask the six time champ how those tires are.it's a good tire.and i also see they have a complete schedule up looks to me like Stan is the man for2013.

Iceman did stan pay you for the piney race and go ask how many gallons of tire softener the six time champ used to make those tires work.

Just to let everyone know, the 6 time champion is going to try for another street stock championship in 2013. He feels that our program is not where it needs to be and wants to step it up a level. Welcome back AK and your all new hot rod !! Howie

Iceman-u should be the last one talking abt. Crying-your the baby that ran to stan last year abt the motor location issue which had been ignored for how long. You were also the baby crying when A.K. wanted to tear u down last year. I come here to voice concerns and real issues. You don't like it-go somewhere else. They want to enforce the engine rules- I say great. I have 4 engines. He better enforce them for everyone. Had it not been for cheaters like you none of this would've got so far out of hand in the first place. Quit sucking up to stan-its pathetic.

The best part is this- everytime we went to stan to say hey a legit open motor w a 350 carb cant compete w a cheater crate- stan would use Phillips car as an excuse to do nothing- saying he can keep up. Yet noone in tech ever thought to check anything. Now open motors are pushed to the Max and stan wants to now police the crates(supposedly-lets actually see it). Now how well do u think a stock crate will run compared to a built 350-it'll be under power by 20hp at least and much less torque. He just flipped the script and gave crates the disadvantage- if left stock. Here's an ingenious idea- tear down a motor if the guy wins a bunch or repeatedly smokes all the other cars. Or how bout returning to a simple gear rule and taking much if the motor out of the equation. Neither of these solutions are expensive or difficult enough. Anybody guess when's the last time a stock crate won a s.s. race?-never.
