Did anyone go to Big E site and see the video of Tony in a NASCAR dirt truck? Looks interesting! www.eldoraspeedway.com, check it out!

I heard they were running laps about the same as the stock cars. Has any one heard how it will be run will there be heats then a feature or just like a redular show on payment. Speedy you have been around long enough remember when they had the 500 lap sprint car race with pit stops. That was some thing to watch pitstops with out stopping. I remember Mark Caldwell had a fuel cell that was high as the back of the roll cage. The one i saw Larry Boom Boom cannon won it.

Yes Skip I remember it. It seems a really long time ago. And yes just about anything was aloud in those days. Some drivers only wore t-shirts to drive a sprint car in. A helmet of some kind, abig handkerchief over thei nose and mouth and goggles. WOW! I was there when Johnny Rutherford went over the backstretch guard rail. I was 12 or so give or take. Very scary. Everyone held their breath. What a historic moment!

Hey keep that crap quite 1950, I dont every one to know we are a couple of old farts.
The good old days of racing, I will never forget that day of him going over the wall.
I also believe that pic was on a lot front covers of some magazines.
