FASTRAK Considers Splitting Regions in 2014 Because of Growth **FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE** January 29th, 2013 FASTRAK PR (Four Oaks, North Carolina) – The FASTRAK Racing Series corporate office is strongly considering splitting the Southeast/Mideast Regions in 2014. This is being contemplated from the continued growth of the series, weekly sanctioned tracks and members. With the continued growth of the FASTRAK Racing Series, we fell like it is only fair to the teams and the tracks to consider taking a strong look at splitting the regions beginning in 2014. This will give all of our FASTRAK drivers and teams a 50% better chance at making a lot more championship money in their weekly regions. This decision is being based on the popularity of our FASTRAK drivers, teams and tracks expanding solely. This new concept has become popular and very successful in previous regions in the past. We want to again let everyone know how much we appreciate all of teams and tracks for supporting the FASTRAK Racing Series. This is just one of our ways to give back to them!! The FASTRAK City Chevrolet Touring season kicks off its 2013 “Decade of Speed Tour” campaign this week. The triple-header at East Bay Raceway Park is a $40,000 Dollar racing spectacular. The event is a first for FASTRAK, the 37th Annual East Bay Winternationals in Gibsonton, Florida. Schedule of Events for 37th Annual East Bay Winternationals Wednesday January 30th - Open Practice Thursday January 31st - $2,000 to win Friday February 1st - $2,000 to win Saturday February 2nd - $3,000 to win East Bay will also be awarding extra money thru the field at the end of night 3 from 21st on back entitled “The East Bay FASTRAK Bonus”!! Drivers that finish in position’s 21st-30th will be collecting $150 Dollars. I really don't see what you are expecting stan to do at this point, he had 2 disgruntled ex employees go behind his back and sign contracts with all of the fastrack northeast member tracks before he ever knew there was an issue !! And before you say they tracks wouldn't have done that if they were happy with fastrack ... Bull$hit !!! The only way tracks would have agreed to do this is to

l have to agree with u on that ONE, GREED instead of helping racers its about helping themselves ,i love your post racestud should sponsor your car after all you got alot of followers on here ,good luck in 2013!!

All I can say is that Dan from RACEWAY 7, Bob from ERIEZ, Jim from DOG HOLLOW and MR.Altman from MERCER are FASTRAK LM sanctioned tracks...MR Lester knew what was going on as this "isnt the first time someone has done this to me " as he stated... he knows what to do and I am confident that with these 4 tracks...thats all you need...MORE money will go to the regular racers who compete there and no long hauls and no politics.... think about this...when you have RACEWAY 7 and ERIEZ weekly up north racing in one weekend...and most of the drivers are from the north anyway..what could possibly go wrong... I think some tracks jumped ship too early before thinking things through but thats THEIR decision.... Jim

Curious...When did Mercer become a FASTRAK track? I missed that anoucement. Are they running the crates weekly?

Everybody I want to thank you all for all the comments, interest and support on what Stan Lester and everyone at FASTRAK are dealing with in the Northeast Region, but I promise you we are going to press on. We'll continue doing whats made that region successful for us 7 years ago before anyone else came along up there. FASTRAK Northeast is not I repeat NOT GOING ANYWHERE!! The 2013 FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Series Schedule will be up sometime this weekend or next week. I can tell you that we have a total of 20 races and are planning to add more.
