Sad indeed - some people just cant even help themselves.
One of my greatest racing memories is Tyler winning the Sharon Nationals in the #35 and doing a backflip down the front stretch.

what a shame indeed....
I remember our "party" with Tyler at Sharon in 1999 boy was he happy...celebrating with everyone that night..then doing the backflip while "wrecks" was barking on the frontstretch!!! typical L.A. kid at that time...booze and drugs...dude..dude..dude!!!!
we talked about the L.A. scene and when my band went out there in 1991 for a week on the Sunset Strip..we talked a ton and he wanted some of "Hartford's finest"..I told him good luck around here but if you go to Youngstown 20 min away you will find ANYTHING you want!!! just a young kid looking for fun
his mom and him bought all his Nationals winning pix at Mercer a month later and wrote me a check for like $200 for a order of 8 x 10s..boy his mom was a hottie then and Tyler was a total gentleman with my mother...
this is a photo from 2002 on the 3/8 mile when he won again..so happy and so talented...I told him then.."you have a promising future and Ive seen what drugs can do to someone..please get some help before you get in trouble" I was hoping he would have kicked the habit..but I guess not...

I watched the 99" race from the pits a Sharon and I thought I had ball$,but he ran that race with his rr tire 6" from the wall at every turn and never burped the throttle.I guess he may have had a little help!

Tyler Walker was all about Tyler Walker! That "Airsep" team was a mega-dollar team for sure. All the people trashing him now knew what he was back then but they just played him up as somebody who could beat Kinser and Blaney(mega-dollar Haud couldn't). When Tyler tried to go to NASCAR he spent what his Dad said was the entire budget he had spent for 2 years on the Outlaws. That was for 5 races-2 in ARCA and three in the Busch series. Ty didn't care-he was gonna be just like them guys! His dad felt otherwise.He told Ty he was on his own-although he had a pretty big allowance. Didn't take long for somebody to rat him out and the rest is history. No question that he bought his way into every ride he had but there was always this fan base that thought he was some "little guy". No,Tyler Walker is just another money kid who couldn't make the team in school. I hope he gets straight.Why die for nothing?

Like the videos you see when somebody is just flapping their guns and somebody comes out of nowhere and throws a ko haymaker. After watching him in that video no surprise he was a raving lunatic drug addict that would eventually run from police while completely blitzed. Looks like he is where he needs to be now

I watched that video like 6 months ago before I knew he chugged hammers for stamp bags ... The whole time I was thinking why doesn't someone lay this scrawny prick out ??
