Its a shame that UNOH use to take the top 4 in points in mods years ago to Fla. But now its like they take all the students on a free ride. We have some of the local sprint car drivers going down you would think they would at least back them a little and put a UNOH sticker on their cars. Oh well just doesnt seem right.

Maybe if UNOH wasn't taking 10-12 modifieds down for the NASCAR guys to play in and sponsoring races, they could show a little more support for our local drivers. Seems like they are losing more and more interest in our long time local drivers and cars. It sure shows in attendance at the races during the summer. It's all big business anymore and while the facilities are nice, it doesn't do anything for people who just want to see good racing.

I will in a way back up the college on this. They are looking at it as a business standpoint. I know, the college should support their drivers more. It sucks that they don't. But I also don't see other tracks paying their drivers way to go down to florida. Just because they have the money, doesn't mean they need to spend it. And sponsoring a 360 down there will not be very beneficial, as nobody from outside Ohio and Michigan really has a 360 that doesn't run Limaland. The only thing beneficial to the 360 program is getting some SOD drivers.

my point is, they don't need to advertise on a 360 as their logo is already plastered down there. They don't see it as beneficiary. Besides, im wondering who would even make the trip. a lot of lima drivers don't do it for a living, and I wonder how many would spend money to run just to lose money between gas, hotels, food, etc. along with skipping out on work and family for a week.
