What year did they establish the 410 cubic inch limit for the World of Outlaw sprint cars. Also, didn't USAC then change their lower limit to be the same as the Outlaws ?

USAC went from 302 to 358 to 410.USAC was never above 410. There were some 500 inchers running around in the early 80's,in the winged cars.At least one Supermod(Doug Hevron) was supposed to be packing 525 cubes!

I seem the think it was 88 or 89 but even now you could build a 420 or 430 and nobody would ever know because Ive never seen them pump a motor.

85 speedweek at eastbay had 410s. But your right you need 420 or up now. I've seen them look at alot of 410 motors but not pump one. But i don't go with the 410 much and in the 305s they dont have to pump motors.

OK, without looking it up, how many cubic inches did the 1989 USAC sprint champion motor have?
