With over a third of the votes in, two drivers are locked in a battle for the annual rookie award. Six other drivers have recieved votes, but are well off the pace of the leading pair.
From this Racestud post I have added four members to the panel for this annual award. However, I am still looking to have some additional members to the north and east of the Pittsburgh area!! I would like to add some members from the Northern Tier and also tracks such as Marion Center, Dog Hollow, Hummingbird and Bedford. etc. If you are a track official or media member from those areas and are interested on voting on this annualy, please leave me your email address and I will get back to you!!!
THANX & GOOD RACING!!!!!
Walt
Will you tell us who the two drivers are that are locked in? Thank You

It hasn't.I am well aware that that's what the press release states. Seems to me that in previous years it's been announced prior to the banquet.
So make plans. What's stopping you? Will you be better able to afford it if you know who's going to be awarded? In all fairness though, some of us would like to make plans to attend the banquet to support the candidate that we are rooting for and it could be difficult even for the contenders to make the trip and spend the additional dollars in their race budgets to go.

It would cost no more or less money to attend the banquet if the driver you wish to support wins the award or does not win the award. It seems like you don't want to "support" this driver. If you did, you'd attend the banquet either way. It seems that you want to "celebrate" this driver, and that is why you are asking for the name of the winner. You don't have to be a wise ass about it.Not sure I'll have to check with my Accountant and Financial Advisor first and quite possibly they may advise me to roll over my 401k before I make my final decision.
Can you please point out to me where I'm wrong? Then maybe I'll understand why you're so pissy. If you are a woman, no explanation is necessary. If not, stop acting like one.Maybe the answer to your question could be found in the deep dark annals of your Gluteus Maximus, Mr. Scruffy....pretty much the same place that most of your comments and analogies come from.
