George Erskine or George Eskine, supermodified driver? Racing against Andy Phillips, Dick Cotterman, Dave Lundy, Gus Linder and Larry Dickson. Who remembers?

If you looked at the top ten in points at Blanket Hill for 1964, and I think we have already mentioned the other nine, this George E. finished ahead of two of them in the standings. And nobody knows who he was. We'll just call it the "secret of Blanket Hill.i remember all the others you mentioned....don't remember george erskine..... not to say he wasn't there, but i don't remember.....
i would add Lou Blaney, Dale Johnston, Bobby Adamson and Buddy Martin to the field

Saw Dave Lundy in Florida and even he didn't remember " the secret of Blanket Hill ".If you looked at the top ten in points at Blanket Hill for 1964, and I think we have already mentioned the other nine, this George E. finished ahead of two of them in the standings. Anything is a possibility. Not sure if he was racing in 1964.

Actually, George was a team mate of Andy Phillips. The cars were owned by Bill Tarr of Rocky Grove. I believe that George's number was 46. The car was one of the 3 white mice cars previously belonging to George Blaney. When Blaney's owned it, it was driven to many victories by Gib Orr.
