it was dynoed at 834hp at 5300 rpm and 873ft lbs tourqe at 4800 rpm runing on gas with stock 472 heads. upgrading to alum. heads and it has to run on methenal to keep cool. also going to do some upgrading to it. dad use to run it in the emod at challenger. he ran 4.11 gears with a bert. anything over 1/4 thottle it would smoke the tires off of it. i want to try it in todays technolagy cars with wide tires.

Sounds like quite the motor. Maybe instead of burning the tires off with all that torque, it should pull a weight sled at the fair?

So at what rpm will you run this beast? It probably won't matter, because the extra 5% weight in the front will make the car handle like a dream.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

The extreme violent torque generated by methanol should be a dream on the dry slick along with the limited rpm capabilities !!! Sounds like a brilliant move !!!
