Thanks for more vintage pictures Lube, I haven't seen Dale Feil's car in a long time. Dale ran Buick motors about the same time my cousin Rich Miller did in his latemodels. Rich ran the old nailhead Buick's up on the Eriez / Stateline circuit. The only car that he ran Chevy's in I think was the last one he ran at Raceway 7 and other tracks and also with the allstars. He won the fast dash at the 1974 Lernerville 200 in one of the # 711 Buicks. Lube do you or anyone of the other oldtimers on here have any pictures of Chargin' Charlie Daugherty? He was one of my Ohio cousins that ran the old Canfield Speedway and other tracks.

I'm told it was a leaf spring suspension with some sort of a traction bar setup. I haven't talked to lois in a while but I'll ask her next time I see her.
A lot of the leaf spring cars and a bar on each side of the springs. A bar with a hime joint on each end. It was to stop the springs from wraping up.....

Sherry I don't see rich too often , but I will try to get some pics and scan them in or get him to scan them and email them this fall. He lives in E. Springfield and I live in Grove City so I don't get up that way much. Rich used to come down for picnics in the summer at my parents house but they don't have them anymore. I am sure he will be down this fall to visit them and I will try to get some pics lined up then.HI! My name is Sherri.
