For Immediate Release Media Contact: Lou Long (412-760-9755) Practice at Mercer Raceway Park March 23; Chiller Thriller March 30 Mercer, PA (March 17, 2013): Mercer Raceway Park will host a practice session on Saturday, March 23, from 1 until 4 p.m. The session will be open to all classes of cars. Pit gates will open at noon. Pit passes will be $20. The grandstands will not be open for spectators, due to insurance regulations. Remember that racing action will start on Saturday, March 30, with the annual Chiller Thriller. Gates will open at 4 p.m. There will be an autograph session at 6 p.m., with racing starting an hour later. The ULMS Late Models will headline the show, with UEMS Modifieds and FASTRAK Late Models also in action. The Mercer Open Stocks will make their first of several appearances at the speedway. About Mercer Raceway Park: Mercer Raceway Park is a 3/8-mile dirt track located minutes from both Interstate 79 and 80 just off Route 19 on Fairground Road in Mercer, Pa. Dirt track racing and quality family entertainment are presented weekly from late March through late September. Props to you guys trying to start racing and getting everything ready with the weather we have been having! Can you post prices for tickets? I'll be there along with a bunch of friends, cant wait!
