In an attempt to get as many cars as possible from as many tracks as possible. I've been working with PPMS to finally allow spoilers at the track and create a uniform set of weights for various engine packages for my Dad's race. This will eliminate confusion for someone that wants to run say Sharon's package versus someone from Mercer who wants to use theirs. Or some obscure track somewhere I don't know about.

Since PPMS rules now allow spoilers and every option I could find on Sharon and Mercer's open Stock rules page, we will use PPMS rules with the below exceptions. This will allow all competitors one universal set of rules, and make it easier on the tech inspectors at the track. PPMS already allows front weight jacks, racing transmissions, tubular lowers, MSD, similar engine location spark plug rules and up to a 410 CI open engine. I can't find any items that PPMS does not allow that other tracks do, outside of the 3310 carb. If I am mistaken let me know. If these are well received, we may go with them for any special or open stock races at PPMS this year. All regular shows at PPMS will use the existing rule package.

Ed Laboon Memorial Rules:

602 Crate Engine: 2600 lbs (any tranny)
604 Crate Engine : 2700 lbs (any tranny)
358-361 Spec Engine: 2800 lbs (any tranny, no aluminum heads, PPMS spec engine rules)
362-410 Open Engine: 3000 lbs.(any tranny, any cam, roller cam and rockers ok, no aluminum heads)
Any car not running 3310 Carb- 3200 lbs.(any tranny)
6" spoiler, limit 3 supports, we are using Sharon/Mercer's measurements for the overall length and side supports.
Any tire compound, grooving and siping ok

Please let me know of any concerns or questions. Thanks!

Looks good to me Vince that's about 95% everybody's bitch about pms is the weight rules compared to other tracks cause one thing always puts you in the 3200 class.

It's a Holley carb with vacuum secondaries it's the standard carb at most tracks around here.

Pole smokers union lol. I didn't realize that pole smokers had representation for collective bargaining.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

As you know some people who are pathetically weak both phyisically and mentally can't survive the world without collective bargining .... My customers don't hire me because the government forces them to ... They hire me
Because I'm the best there is at what I do ...

" Collective Bargaining " Decided the rules for this race . Duh!
At least you had a Girlfriend once .. But when she dumped you at the Pittsburgher for the whole Parking Lot .. it really made you angry ..
These guys do the nicest decks .. and they can read a Tape measure and Space their Balisters evenly on the Railings .. not like some of the pics on your site.

= OO EE AA Bad spacing and Out of plumb OO EE AA!
you dont have to be Certified in Welding , Cpr , Defribulator, Osha , Concrete testing , Hospital Sanitary Construction Practices, Drug tested and be part of an Organization that was established in 1882 to see that !

Another thread Puked by the Legand ... seems like every one
Have you Tried to Call ?? Maybe she will take you back !

Are you aware over 50% of the projects on the site you mention were built by me personally ? Which balluster spacing is incorrect in the picture you showed ? What is out of plumb ? You can't even see a balluster spacing in the DTY picture you posted .... They have 1 guy who's good his name is Carey Weaver ... He doesn't build all of the projects though.... Carey weavers carpentry skills compared to a metal stud screwing drywall hanging iron city drinking mouth breather such as yourself is like comparing Scott bloomquists racing skills to yours ... Carey Weaver is the ONLY guy out there who's skill level I consider almost on par with mine ...

Thats a great idea clettus, I think latrobe still needs a promoter.. I would love to see that place open back up. I hope to see your dads race become even bigger this year, you guys do a nice job promoting it thats for sure.. I don't plan on racing much this year, trying to get a hobby stock finished for my son this year to run at roaring knob. After leading 14 laps of that race last year, only to get a flat on the last restart, I guess I better try it again..
