The Days Inn in Butler, PA is the top recommendation for travelers from the west & north planning to stay at a hotel. The Days Inn in Butler is located 10 miles from the speedway on Route 8 just south of Butler. The Days Inn has an indoor pool, on-site restaurant & lounge and is in close proximity to a handful of restaurants including McDonalds, Pizza Hut and Burger King. For those coming from the east & south, the top recommendation is the Comfort Inn & Suites RIDC Park along Route 28 directly off Exit 10 between Fox Chapel and Harmar. Other nearby towns with hotels include (arranged in order of proximity) Butler, Kittanning, New Kensington, Cranberry Twp. and Harmar Twp.

In Closing: Don’t miss out on the opportunity to take part in this exciting two-day show at Lernerville Speedway! The DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede will be the first chance of 2013 to see our Fab Four Racing divisions, plus five other divisions and the first 100-lap Enduro of the season. After discussing the matter between Gary, Vicki, Mike and I, the Stampede will be run on the 2012 FASTRAK tire rule. Mike will provide a further explanation if necessary closer to the event.

Will the sprints be on the 2012 tire rule?

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

Are they planning on running hotlaps Sunday? It sucks to tow down saturday and be done by 4 and then have to stand around all day cause no one who towed a good distance is gonna go home and come back sunday. This will be our first night and would like a set of hotlaps atleast before we go feature racing. Also not impressed with the $30 test and tune pit pass. I know for a couple cars planning on practicing half the team will be sitting in the stands.

Running hot laps, for what 10 divisions on a sunday, would take 1hr or more i bet. Most of the teams and drivers work monday so im sure we would like to be gone by 7pm to drive home.imo

last year when they ran it on a sunday they did hotlaps for the bmain cars to get the track run in.
And don't be surprised if they don't start at 3PM and you're still running featuers past 9 or 10 PM.

I don't know what's less believable, that you kept your wrist band on all that time, or that you've taken a shower since then.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.
