So you think the Bainey's failed because they decided it was more important to concentrate their time and effort running the family business than it was running a race track???

no, going with the same basic class all year....bring in a few different classes, give the fans some reason to wanna come back (to see something different)...bring in outlaw lates or super mods or winged sprints...something to draw the curious dirt junkie around here to the asphalt...

Small block mods on pavement might work. Put them on Syracuse extra-hards like they do at Airborne. Everybody laughed at Mike Perotte when he announced he was going to do that at Airborne. They get 30-35 cars a night.

I'd like to see dirt street and pure stocks on an 8" hard tire, all the same wheel offset, and a $100 shock rule. 5 races a year. There's 300 of those cars here in Central PA.

Definitely need to get the super mods on there. Lake Erie has always wanted to run some type of sprint car class, maybe get a little asphalt sprint tour going?

They took the dirt off because it took too much time and work to prepare. Now it looks like Tim's boys didn't want to put the time and effort into the asphalt. Tim has all his time devoted to the trucking business so he said sell the track. Whoever buys it I hope they really try to make a go of it.

Modifieds. Bring in modifieds. That's what I'm thinking. Would you go there to watch modifieds, suhoney?

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

I'd run a small block dirt mod on the pavement. Like Mahoning Valley.

I hear he is in big debt with the trucking business ,maybe he needs some cash to ease the debt. I don't see anyone buying it with a track opening up 2 miles away ,could set for a long time.

It would make more "cents" if someone signed a lease for it and then if it worked out they could buy it later.

There are a lot of asphalt cars available right now to run at CNB park. All of the ones that are sitting from Lake Erie, Jennerstown and Motordrome. I have heard there are actually quite a few asphalt street stocks still around...So if someone would run those say once a month, maybe on Sunday afternoon, they just might make it work.
