How did the track hold up? I went to Mercer and it was a complete dust bowl (features) ...track was slick and smooth but was just super dusty...looked like something you would see in the dog days of summer...now before all the haters start yelling at me, I know its dirt track racing and I love it, just saying I was surprised how dusty it got this early in the season...Dennis lunger jr. wins first RUSH series race at sharon speeway.

Kind of a hard time of year to prep a track, ground is so wet you can't really put any water to it, then it gets sunny and windy...next thing you know, dusty as hell. Seen it many times, rains the day prior to or few days prior to a race the track will usually end up dry because it throws off the track prep schedule.

From a photographer's standpoint, the Sharon track was in excellent shape especially considering the wet and cold Spring we have had. I had minimal issue with dust and didn't see and ruts either. After the Econo-Mod feature (only the minis were left) the track still had some moisture and looked smooth. How did the track hold up?
