If that's the case, WE will be running at the bird!!ive got a question about the rules that state that the engine MUST remain completely stock as per factory line specs.does that mean if i have a car that has turbo or a supercharger and a header that it is legal to run there?imo that is extremely unfair to the guys that built the cars from the FIRST set of rules taken from the first meeting in december that state STOCK MOTORS WITH NO TURBOS AND NO HEADERS.

Drivers,Let us clear something up about the fwd. rules. This class is a true pure stock division. It would not be fair to descriminate against any car manufacture.Any oem built car will be allowed.Sure one car may be faster than another but drivers need not worry about this matter because track management will not allow any car to dominate this division.Instead of making rules to eliminate certain cars management will add weight to any car deemed needed until management feels the field is balanced.Certain items still will be teched to ensure they are same as oem specs.
Well said I remember when I raced this class in 06 my stock ford probe had a header but it was stock so everyone assumed I was cheating..the problem with this class is not the turbos its the 200 $-500 $ computer chips u can buy and no tech guy will find. Examples are ppl put the motors from the dodge breeze in there neons with injectors from a 318. Bo tech guy will ever see the difference and with the after market computers there crazy fast. U need a way to tech every type of cars computer or this class will get out of hand with in the first month

why single out neons-you take a look at the tracks running 60-70% of them are neons if they start nit-picking there goes most of the field of cars-JUST LET PLAY OUT
Was not trying to single out any cars just using neons for the example neons are just the cheapest to find and easiest to upgrade without being caught.

Ur right horsepower won't help much at amp. Back in 05 when I won the points at thunder mountain my car was untouchable at tms but at central pa speedway them over powered neons would eat me upThese cars are not built for the abuse that is put on them while racing. You keep beefing up the horsepower and torque these cars will break. At a small track turbos and most horsepower cheats do not help alot. But at a larger track such as lernervill or RW7 torque and horsepower are a huge deal. That being said this is supposed to be a cheap entry level class. If you dont keep an eye on these cars CHEAP will be gone and so will some of the cars.

I never had a turbo just wondering will the dust effect it at all? I mean u can't use cold air intakes bc there not stock so will the stock air filter hold up?So turbos are ok? I wish would have know that because i might have bought the probe i was interested in....the wife will be happy now anyways.
