Went to Lernerville for the first time in a couple years Yesterday. When did the crybaby rule come into effect. If you spin out and somebody helped you because you were in the way. You get your spot back and the other guy goes to the tail. WTF is that? Ridiculous and I won't go back. Sounds like Nascar BS to me or Nfl. We have to protect the driver. Last I checked, you race an your own risk Idiocracy!!!

Wasn't there so cant comment on what went on but objectively, if you are the innocent party in any incident, you should be reinstated in your position. Having said that, sometimes the Umpire gets it wrong.

As for quoting NASCAR, they don't have much in the way of rules and penalties during a race - we are talking about the Organisation that tells their drivers to 'sort it out between themselves on the track'.

Moving somebody out of the way isn't "racin", it's showing a lack of respect for your fellow racers. A real racer finds a way to pass somebody clean. If anything, NASCRAP helped instill this attitude that moving somebody out of the way is okay with the shitfest "races" at Martinsville and Bristol.

Here was the crate race: 1st an alternate driver tried to start the feature and refused to leave the track even after it appeared they stopped him to make him leave. With the alternate still on track they still decided to start the race. Finally after they stopped him for the 2nd time he left the track (driving like an idiot). Then we saw a stretch of about 40 mins where they couldn't even get 1 lap in without wrecking. Then they had to stop all the cars on the front stretch to "fix" the lineup. I'm not sure if they were moving people to the back, the drivers didn't know where to line up, or the drivers refused to line up correctly. Finally it went caution free the last 15 laps or so (thankfully).

That's the first time I remember seeing a crate/fast track "race" (if you can call it that). I don't follow a lot of late model racing. I'm more interested in sprint cars ( just my preference, not slamming late models). I hope this is not the norm when it comes to crate/fast track races. If so I don't care to ever see one again. It was pretty embarrassing.

That pathetic excuse for racing aside the rest of the day was great. I was especially impressed with the super late model race. Like I said earlier I haven't seen late models a lot but it was easily the best/most exiting race of the day IMO.

The point is hat I really hate to slam a race and the people spending their hard earned money and valuable time to put it on but IMO that was not racing. I hope it was an isolated incident and doesn't reflect a normal crate/fast track race. Hopefully I get a chance to see them run again and I will be left with something more positive
