Wasnt there at race at ppms that was 100 to enter and 120 to start?Did anyone else notice? You would think that if there was a 100 dollar entry fee , it would pay more than 200 to start feature????

Was that for the Crates? The crate series set and collect the entry fees, not the track.
Space Racer is correct, the class with the $100 entry fee was the Fastrak late models. The track didn't set that entry fee nor did they set the purse for the crates.

Yes......but the track paid the purse. Why was money collected by fastrack if it wasn't added to the purse?
All Fastrak, and for that matter, Rush touring events have entry fees and the purse is set by the series. All purse structure is set previous to the event and doesn't change no matter how many cars do or don't show. This race was a rarity, being that it was run 6 months later, but the same idea applies. The advertised purse was paid regardless of new entries.

Brad had to go home and put his kids to bed.

All of the fastrak tour races are that way and have been since the start. I think the rule with fastrak is based on what the race pays to win. I think some are actually $150 for an entry fee. BRP is a $25 season long membership or $10 for individual races iirc. Might be 50 and 20, I can't remember.@ hot dog........ where is this posted? The point I was trying to make was it paid 100 to start after the entry fee. = less than a regular nite at a weekly track.

Just know I'm not bitching about the fees. Just trying to explain to him that the sanctioning bodies set the sanction fee, not the track.. What you guys do is your own business and if it works for you, great.well, here is the deal...... many argue about our fee's, whether it be rush or fastrak. it is a racer's series, if you like to race alot, and do reasonably well, you can make alot of money. no other series, division, or track points pay compares to what you invest. i pay 100 bucks for touring fastrak, 100 bucks touring rush, 100 bucks weekly points fastrak, 100 bucks weekly points rush...... i got 400 invested... rush and fastrak both pay the top 30 points weekly money. they both pay the top 15 in touring points. we run both with a goal to be in the top ten in both series. 9th in fastrak paid me 1200 bucks, tenth 1000 bucks......you do the math for just loving to race. so, here is our reasonable finish in both. if we don't destroy both cars, knock on wood, we should be top ten in every catagory , rush touring, fastrak touring, rush weekly, fastrak weekly, lowest saying tenth place in all, 1000,1000,700,700, is 3400 bucks.....not including the decent pay we win in the touring races, not including each tracks weekly pay, not including the tracks point money, and not including our national events pay!!!!!!!!!!!! and that is for about 10th in all points.... we get all that by just racing.......... bitch all you want, this the only way keep your car count healthy, cars racing more than one night a week, and good money coming in during the off season.....why is max not moving up, he would be absolutely crazy to do so.... if he ran supers all year long, he would be in the hole what he wins with a 5000 dollar crate engine..... any good racer wasting their time and money in other divisions, just don't understand i guess. 15-20 g pure stocks.......i laugh out loud at what you do for 300 bucks.....e-mods, insane what they spent for 500 bucks.. and all the upper divisions, you way out in la,la land.... people complaing about 100 bucks.....lol. we came to lernerville to get the points provisional, thus giving up 100 bucks in start money. so if we finish, 18th on back, we get 100 buck pay. came from the back twice, to make 400 for 7th. it paid off....just like in january, when checks start rollin in...by no means do i rip the drivers for the divisions they run, good for them, if they can afford it. i just get sick of hearing about the 100 fees.......this just shows, you don't understand at all!!!!!!! good racing...
