I won't make any excuses for Dog Hollow. It's next to impossible to figure him out, but the knob is looking at a BIG payout, and people traveling for hours for their show. It is business, now more than ever. They are facing a 90 to 100% chance of rain and strong storms, I would do the same thing, and I bet you would too if your money was on the line. Lernerville has raced when most others wouldn't, but I have my doubts about tomorrow. We'll have to see how bad it is.

Yes I understand that many racetracks can pull the plug way to early. But the fact of the matter is not where is it going to rain, just when is it going to rain. I expect most of PA to be underwater tomorrow. As nice as this week was and to have our raceday opener at Lernerville cancelled is very upsetting but just racing as well.

If anyone gets their show in, it will be the ohio tracks and possibly a Williams Grove if they rush it. But even that is sketchy

The weather forcasting today is pretty good! I have seen racing go on when there was a 60% chance of rain in the area! But almost never when there is moore of a chance than that! Friday is 100% chance of rain! Pull the plug now and do everyone a favor! Nothing is worse as a racer than getting there....get the car unloaded and dirty...and rain out! Then have no pay or have to run double features some other week! Just a total looser for the racers and the fans! I think all tracks should cancel when the rain chance goes above 60%. Just My .02

The storms might move through and be gone by late afternoon. Makes it a tough call for Gary, especially when you have the suits at WRG to answer to.

LWM, that bunch of brain surgeons doesn't listen to me. Those jokers think I'm as full of shit as most of the posters here think I am. I think they probably coulda got it in, but they probably think they'd have lost their ass if they did. OK with me either way. I can watch the Pirates tonight instead.

There is a Pens game tomorrow night. There was supposed to be one tonight, but it got postponed due to the manhunt in Boston. The Pirates play the Braves tonight, and they'll probably get that in.
