The driver that I am talking about was leading. Something about a lap car screwed him.... idkThe last lap is the one that counts.

I can really see why no one cares about that track. The rules are dumb, The track had a hole in turn one. Won't ever go back there again... plus it took them 4 tries to finish lap one in the late models.thats bradford for ya. plus, no one cares about that place. all i ever hear is bad news about that track. takes them months to pay, etc etc.

Same thing happened to me opening night at Lernerville. It's a rule that most tracks use. I've seen it happen to others also. It was explained to me that they don't want to make it a judgment call so if you are involved in a spin or wreck with a lapped car you're considered part of the caution. The only track in recent years that I've seen do it right is Marion Center Speedway. I think tracks really need to consider changing that rule because it's definitely going to happen again.I guess my only beef with the track was how the 81 was leading and dominating the whole night...Then all of a sudden a lap car screws him over and he doesn't win. I just don't get it....

Ohhhhh now I understand what happened. That is a very stupid rule. I mean if a lap car slows up in front of the leaders and you get into them and they spin that shouldn't be your fault. I totally agree with you.Same thing happened to me opening night at Lernerville. It's a rule that most tracks use. I've seen it happen to others also. I think their is a grey area with the rule. I've talked to some fellow drivers who think that if say the top 3 or 5 are "taken" out by a lapped car and can still continue to race then they should get their spot back. As in my case, I was leading and took the white flag. As I entered turn 1 & 2 the lapped car was on the middle/high groove and as I got back in the gas he started to spin, coming down the track to the bottom where I was running. I didn't have anywhere to go and when I turned toward the inside of the track I was collected by him. They put me to the back because they said the caution hadn't been displayed yet.Ohhhhh now I understand what happened. That is a very stupid rule.
