I saw some great races that Yip was in. He could run with the best of them. I think what made a lot of the Western Pa. drivers great was tracks like Butler , that old Fairgrounds track was tight and guys like YIP , Jack West , Bob Wearing and the other greats got really good at coming up through traffic , when they were up front and came up to lapped cars they knew how to get through them very quickly. My condolences to the Robinson family , Chris was in my High School Class , RIP , YIP.

Yip Robinson has passed on

I liked racing better when guys raced real "highway" cars from the junk yards. We will never see those days again!!
