What size wheels? I do not remember seeing a 9 inch with 8 bolt wheels. Most ran a Dana 60 or 3/4 ton Chevy rear with 8 bolts. Either way hope you find what you need.

15 x 8 or 10 - 8 lug wheels. they were special made .. 9" center section , ford 8 bolt truck hubs, long 9" axles machined down to bolt where the truck axle did.. 28 o6 31 spline. if I recall the axles were from old ford vans with the offset engines and rear ends. some one has one!!!!! very common around the mid 70's . P.S. I had a pontiac floater built the same way. had to, kept breaking r.r out side the bearing . metalic brakes were a big expense not to mention a cut tire

I know the parts you are talking about but I do not remember seeing them used that way. Sound like a neat trick. I used the 1 ton floater van rear cut to use 2 short axles. When the price of junk went up a lot of the old parts went that way. Danser's near Greensburg PA had rows of Ford vans. Some with 9". Probably gone now. I will look for the wheels but mine were all wider than 8" and very heavy.

I was there last week and they had no full size vans at all. there was a few 9"'s under some older f150 and a bronco.
