I saw some things I definantly liked, and some things that just made me really scratch my head. Track was excellent, hell of a job to Lima for the epic track. The show was ran fairly quickly as well. Heres what I didnt like. I have seen it every week there, but there are kids riding 4 wheelers all over the pits, between cars when they are in the grid, when cars are coming through the pits after heats, and giving rides to other people (Im talking like 8-10 year old kids). Ive seen one kid who takes time to look for cars, but Ive seen 2 or 3 others just riding around for the hell of it, I about got mowed down by one of them tonight. You guys gotta do something about this, or the kids gonna get hit by the race cars, or they are gonna hit someone. Secondly, I saw cars spin into the infield probably 3 or 4 times tonight where it was impossible to see through the dust. I know one was in the modified feature when I believe the 33 was barely inside the tires parked, then the 5 car did a donut, and kicked up so much dust I couldnt see 1/2 the track from where I was standing, and the leaders came in full bore into that situation. I know I was basically standing right ontop of that deal, so how could they honestly see from the tower if there was a car parked in the center of that and the leaders smoke them at full bore. Definantly not a good deal there. I think Waynesfield had this problem last year when there was a bunch of dust kicked up by a guy who drove through the infield and drivers couldnt see with no caution thrown. Massive safety hazard. Meet the drivers I thought was a touch short, especially with no weather in the area...I know my driver still had a bunch of kids he was trying to pass out cards too. Give em 20+ minutes. I even thought bringing some of the cars over to the grandstand side would be cool if it would be do-able. I doubt any of this will get anywhere, but wanted to kind of see some thoughts of others on the deal.

I have nothing wrong with kids in the pits its fun to get them into racing, But if they were running around on 4 wheelers like you said, I would put a stop to that they need to be watched and not on a 4 wheeler. You just cant turn kids that age loose, let alone on a 4 wheeler.Sounds like Gene was on top of the track prep.

I agree about the kids on 4-wheelers. After hot laps i was pulling around to pull into my pit and a kid on a 4-wheeler turned around right in front of my as i was trying to pull in.
