Nate Smith won stocks.
Copeman won late models on last lap.

Cheyenne Reed won the Steel Block Late Model race over Galen Huey and Scott Stein. Late Model race was pretty uneventful until the last three or four laps when Jerry Redden, who had been leading from the start, developed a push in turn two, allowing Clate Copeman to make a run at him each of the final laps, finally getting by on the last circuit. Following were Rod Phillips, Redden, and Mike Blose. Nice run for Shawn Claar who pulled off the track while in second place. First time I had ever seen Nate Smith race, was quite impressed. He may have lapped the entire field had the 30-lap special gone non-stop. Not only was the car fast, he threaded lapped traffic masterfully, putting his car wherever it needed to be on the track. Haven't been to MC in about ten years, was a very good night of racing, albeit many, many yellow flags.
