Attention Late Model Racers - It was brought to my attention that I should let you know what is going on in Clearfield, PA. On June 22nd we will have a 100 lap Late Model Race. The prize money will be the same as Motordrome for a 100 lap event. The rules are essentially the same as Motordrome, with a few minor changes. All can be found on the website at www.cnbbankracewaypark.com including the registration form. We will also run street stocks, chargers and FWD 4cyl. The remaining races are July 27, August 17 and Sept 14. CNB Bank Raceway is the old Central PA Speedway - a fast 5/8 mi asphalt track with a great racing surface. Don't let Late Model Racing die out - Come out and race with us!

Any chance of seeing the list of people who could give a shit less about asphalt racing. Make it dirt again and you'll get the cars and the fans.

Not everyone is a simpleton. Some people can enjoy both dirt and asphalt racing. All local tracks need support.

I haven't hit an asphalt race in quite a while. This seems like an interesting race to go check out.

The car count is looking pretty good for Super Cup and the verbal commitments for LM is 20+. I haven't seen the official list yet.

They had a team test there at 102 mph average last week on old tires. I'd venture to guess the LM race is gonna rock.

I am all for the reopening of the Clearfield track either in asphalt or dirt but wtf is up with the rule of no coolers allowed in the general admission area????? come on now. That will be the first local track to EVER do that. Even Nascar allows coolers!!!! All that will do is prevent fans from coming to the event. It is going to be hard enough to get people to come to the track as pavement as it is. Gawwwd!!!!!

Thanks for pointing that out didn't see it until you pointed it out. On the website 2 pages run over top of each other and you can barely see the cooler part unless you are looking for it. I thought about going to this show but if you cant bring coolers in Ill head somewhere else. Lake Erie Speedway does this too, 4 bucks for a hot dog, 5 bucks for a small plastic cup of beer. Good luck with that.

One solution is to party on the hill and leave the grandstand for family friendly viewing. Also, if you think about track concessions, they're probably less expensive than a burger at a Curve game. I know I'd rather be at the races...

Wish it was on a Sunday afternoon. Too many of us are committed to the local dirt tracks at this point. Even the asphalt haters would buy a ticket on a Sunday.
