for 0 support races...and 10 late models (heard a guy broke) it was a sham...put dirt back on it, run the yankee doodle again and i bet you get more late models then the combined car count was tonight...also probably more fans then they will draw for the whole year...

the point is "all us clueless, dirt diehards who needed to get a life" were spot on with calling what would happen tonight

What happened? I went to an asphalt track, you went to a dirt track, so what's the big deal?

I really don't care if they ever put the dirt back on it or not , i think even asphalt fans need a place to go ,so good luck to them but with car counts this low how many of the "just curious to see what it is like crowd "will be back paying 20 dollars to see that many cars and someone said if it were run on a Sunday even the dirt fans would show ...let me say this i would rather cut grass than have anything to do with asphalt and i am not the only one ,i am just the only one that will say it.if asphalt is your thing i am sorry if i offended you but not everyone likes dirt racing and not everyone likes asphalt and some people like both so it takes all kinds.that is why America is the greatest place on the earth we can all have an opinion.

I agree, it is up to you where you go to Church, where you shop for groceries, and what type of races you chose to go and see. Personally, right now, I'm actually a member of a dirt pit crew, however, we used to race asphalt, had to sell everything when J-town and Clfd shut down, I prefer ashalt, and if you prefer dirt then that's fine also. I don't get on here, and bash dirt tracks, and neither do any other asphalt fans that I know of. As the last poster said, we're in America and that gives us the freedom to chose. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

You know what I had not been to an asphalt race since I was working with an ARCA team in 2005. We ended up going to Motordrome on Friday Night and I was blown away by the crowd. The front straightaway stands were packed, the hillside was packed, and the back straightaway stands were packed. The big thing that I thought was really fan friendly was for the younger fans that were under 12 years old were admitted free. It seemed like there was a lot more casual fans there and that is great for the sport. I can't imagine the crowd Motordrome will get on July 5th for $5 night.
