Talked to a few current and ex emod drivers at PPMS and they all said the same thing- they'd love to be back. Personally, I still think the cost of an open emod is out of hand, but maybe a crate or econo mod division would work at PPMS. I just don't know where you would pull the cars from, however. The Knob only had 6 start their feature, and I don't know how many guys would leave Sharon or the traveling series to support PPMS after they dumped them in 2012.

What about the IMCA mods? Clinton County had 22 this past Friday and have been averaging 19 cars weekly.

They'd get the cars from down our way for sure. With muskingum closed your only Saturday night option is tyler and I'm pretty sure they'd all go back to Ppms. I know we had alot of money this Saturday in Pitt passes, Miley's had to see that let alone the fans in the stands. I see alot of complaining on here about PPMS but TRUST me, go run some of the other tracks each week and you will appreciate getting home at a reasonable hour, a nice track surface, the no stop rule , not having to hike hells half acre from your pits to see the race, the list could go on and on. I'm sure all the other regulars would be back as well as gaining some that used to race in Zanesville. Look at the turn out they had this weekend....more modifieds than late models for a smaller purse. Modfied drivers showed up!!!! Bring em back. No....they won't get that every week but I think you'd be surprised at the turnout. When Morans was open they paid $600 every week unless under a certain number of cars and there were times a consi was needed and you knew ahead of time if the car count wasn't there the purse was cut. Usually the only time that happened was when there was a big race somewhere else which is to be expected.

vince, we were at sharon on saturday and they had almost the same amount of cars as pms and they were paying less than half the money to win so there are alot of emods out there. not sure if they will come down or not but would be fun to see, i think they started about 24 in the feature, plus you got the guys from down at 250 speedway but i believe they pay 500 to win and i do not see matt paying that much.

Those specials are Great ! its a tough decision what divisions to run weekly .. seems like ppms is leaning toward 3/4 latemodels .. And like Vince said .. the Emods ( motors mostly ) are out of hand ! Either way .. rotating special nights with different kinds of cars is awsome !
