Any racesaver team planning on running july 3rd needs to contact me at (814)279-7776 to verify your seals and your engine tech info. This is only for cars that have not raced at doghollow this year

This is only for cars that have not raced at doghollow this year. What does that mean? So this race is an invite only? if so why can't anybody that is "racesaver" race this race? Heard they lowered the purse is that correct to? and if so why?

The cars that have raced at Dog Hollow have had their seals checked and seal #'s recorded. Brian is only asking for you to call to verify your seals and region if you have not competed at Dog Hollow this year.

Hearing rumors that this race is cancelled because of the drama that comes from dealing with French and the Racesaver group. Any truth to it Mr Walker?

We are having no problem drawing 15 to 18 OSW cars every week at Mercer. There are at least 4 more cars coming out later this year. OSW is not dictating where a car owner can go and race. In fact we have repeatedly said we will honor all valid Racesaver sealed engines. It doesn't work that way in reverse. So you tell me who is ruining limited sprint racing.

Since you asked, local limited sprint racing was ruined at Sharon. If they had gone Racesaver at the beginning, we wouldn't have to go through this every year. And if you didn't honor all valid Racesaver engines, you wouldn't be drawing 15-18 cars every week. But you are making the best of a bad situation and that's good. :D

All the cars we are drawing are OSW cars. Racesaver has done nothing for the car count at Mercer. We are not getting any Racesaver cars. We have had close to 24 different OSW cars compete at Mercer. The 305 engines are about double the count of the 5.3. Each likes their choice of engine. There is no reason to force 6 to 8 guys to buy a new motor. They are coexisting and the OSW numbers are steadily increasing.

Hi Mike!!! Thanx for clearing the air!! I didn't think there were any racesaver engines running at Mercer, but I wasn't sure. Rumor has it that America's Raceway Park might add the racesaver cars on a regular basis, but that is just a non-conformed rumor. But that won't bother Mercer!! GOOD RACING!!!! Walt

The July 3rd show now shows the late models running for $3,000, the street stocks running for $700, and the 270cc micro sprints running for $300! ;)

Seems all the drama comes from people wanting everything to be racesaver sanctioned. What it comes down to is you either want to race your car or you don't. If you really want to race mercer will honor your racesaver seals. the 10 cars from dog hollow come race at mercer. That would push the car count over 30 and help promote limited sprint car racing in the area.

If just those ten went to Sportsmans, that would be two and a half times as large as the recent crate race.

What is the break down of cars? How many 5.3 motors, Racesaver motors and other 305 motors?

Mercer every Saturday. But have ran races at lernerville and Wayne county. The break down of motors is about split down the middle. About 10 5.3s have ran and 11 osw sealed motors and I think 1 race saver sealed motor.

Is OSW a sealed motor? If so who seals them?
