Yes you will get paid that night. I am the new race director and this is the new Bradford Speedway. I don't have a clue how many cars will show up for the open Street stock race. If I get enough cars I will putted on a regular night basis. If I get enough cars ABL increase the purse, so show up let's go racing
I can understand if you run a special for 700-750 to win. That would pull some cars for you but i do not believe many cars would come for only 300. Unless stateline pulls a bunch over for you. But good luck

He obviously doesn't get the fact this track doesn't run this class. So any race for open stocks will be considered a special show. But English language comprehension is not his strong point. $300 to win is more then the tracks pay up here but he doesn't attend up here so he wouldn't know that. Instead he spouts off about something that has absolutely nothing to do with him. Take your old DUSTY NUTS to lernerville and worry about "your"so called best stocks around. Leave us northern people alone. So whats your track pay to win rusty nut. They do not run this class normally, that's what makes it special, kinda like you I guess.

no matter what language you want to say it, type it, or write it in, MONEY TALKS people. and in order to get a GOOD field of cars, not 10 or less, you need to pay more than 300 for good cars to travel. OR, you will get what have close to you...
if you want to promote a track and bring in big money with big crowds,...try bringing in a BIG car count...and then watch!!

You guys are all missing the point. They arent trying to draw 40 cars to this event. This is a trial event for the open stocks. If they get 10 cars they will be happy. That's what you all don't understand. This isn't little guy nationals that they are expecting 60 cars to show up. They expect 10 or slightly more. Which is what they are going to get. There's a number of Stateline cars planning on going. That's where they are trying to draw cars from. Not Dubois, Pittsburgh, Sharon, mercer, area. Not yet anyhow. If they get 10 cars this may well become a weekly class for the same payout or slightly more weekly. Then they will promote for racers from west central pa to attend. This track is trying to survive not put on $1,000 to win stock shows. So they are experimenting with what they can do. And the two tracks they are trying to get cars from don't pay $300 to win.Bradford would pull some southern cars if they paid 500$ or more to win. for 300$ its really not worth it for anyone to even show up. if you pay more, you'll get more cars. bottom line.
Can't build a $300,000 home without first building the foundation from the ground up. Which is exactly what this race is supposed to be. A building block not the finished product.
And find it funny you all say quality cars... We have plenty of quality cars up this way lol. Pretty sure we have several cars that travel to your open shows and run top 5 every time. Tommy fox, Chris withers, Paul shreckengost, Greg fenno just to name a couple lol. Two of those gentlemen have won at mercer and Sharon open shows. How much more quality do you want?

So that extra $50 that hummingbird pays is what makes it worth showing up?Bradford would pull some southern cars if they paid 500$ or more to win. for 300$ its really not worth it for anyone to even show up. if you pay more, you'll get more cars. bottom line.

i believe that is the "weekly" pay...not the special, but i could be wrong. just from what i read. I understand its a trial run, but i really think they go to 500 they could get 25 or more to show first time. i mean, thats 200 more dollars??...they cant spend that?? theyll get MORE than enough with the 15 or more cars that show up for the extra 200. its just common sense!
