That place was a joke tonite.common knowledge you dont run super lates first, that track was horrible, not to mention the excess water they dumped on it,they need to get it together up there.

I'm not sure how the track was horrible? Seems like you're the only one complaining....

The track was no good this week, turn 3 and 4 was very rough and turn 1 and 2 wasnt much better in the heat races, most of the late models had air under all 4 tires bounching through the corners and followed each other with no passing. And when the late models go out first it makes it even worse because they really tear the track up instead packing it in more like the less horsepower classes do. Then in the features the track did smooth out in turn 1 and 2 but only half way up the track in turn 3 and 4, they could only use half the track in turn 3 and 4 because it was overly wet and dug up so deep that it made a foot high cushion and all mud up above the cushion.

I don't think the track was bad either....it smoothed out and opened up for the feature. As for the heat races, get up on the cushion and let it eat....the track may not be what is "normal" for Marion Center but it wasn't terrible by any means. It is actually nice to see a track actually trying, I give them credit...they put the water to it and tried to give the racers a decent surface to race on instead of not doing much of anything and calling it good enough..... Just my opinion.

They teched the crates after their feature.

And the car with the most wins was already in his trailer. Any chance he got tipped off?

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

No, they tech the crates frequently ( I think they have looked at them every week maybe?). Satterlee had a left rear flat from earlier contact and no yellow to change it.

The only two cars that previously won in that division did not finish the race...

They do check certain things each week but there was actually a Fastrak Rep there for post race tech.

Just a coincidence. Thanks, fellas.

Was it the official FASTRAK tech inspector who used to advertise on this board, but now only posts his advertisements for free?

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

Our car was checked two weeks ago. They looked for seals and other portions of the car. They also check the heights of the decks each week along with the tires.
