You know I just love that certrain people never seem to be happy. As Connors cousin, were just happy that at such short notice Jeff and AMP are willing to host the race this year for us. This race is to remember 5 year old Connor and race money for a great cause and thanks to the racing community over the last 2 years it totals 7000 bucks. Derek and Jeff made the decesion since Marion Center is off this night. I'm sure a full field of cars will be there and deff last years winner of the race along with devin frese trying to change his schedule around to be there. Its not about the money to win its about being able to say "I've won the race to honor Connor"

I'm sure if your willing to kick in 1500 of your smode booth profits they will gladly make the race 3 k to win. As a previous poster said the race isn't about money it's About the kids memory

Its definitely about the kids memory, but $1500 to win is NOT going to intice alot of quality late models....or fans.

Niether Pittsburgh or ULMS can manage to pull a full field of cars anymore for their Late Model higher paying races. So who cares?! They are both already failing and a $1,500 race isn't going to have much effect on their already low car counts. The Bobiks already have a lot of work in their charity event that go with the race, and AMP stepped up and is having the event on the same weekend it was already scheduled.

I just read Connor's story. He no doubt was a great little dude. Make A Wish is a fantastic charity. I'm glad he got to see his wish. Bravo to AMP for making the race happen. Let's all show our support for this great cause, look forward to some great racing, and honor and remember Connor. ramey
