If you stayed home because of the rain, shame on you. Great night of racing and I'm glad I made the last minute decision to go down. Hope for more of the same tomorrow.
Amen. What a show, that was money well spent!!

Agreed about Mars. He's better on the hard/slick.

Probably because it was by no means a "punt" or rough driving. Just a little racing incident where they got locked together. So insignificant that, if I recall correctly, neither was charged with the caution.I'm surprised no one has mentioned Jonathan Davenport punting Alex Ferree in their heat race last night. Obviously there is no penalty for rough driving at the Firecracker.

I am not an Feree fan at all, but he got punted. The reason they got their spot back is WoO have a rule that if there is a multi car accident on the first lap every one gets their spot back.Probably because it was by no means a "punt" or rough driving. Just a little racing incident where they got locked together. So insignificant that, if I recall correctly, neither was charged with the caution.

They didn't get locked together, Davenport plowed directly into the back of Alex's car, turning him around. I'd hate to think what you might consider significant contact. Great show otherwise.
