Mercer, PA (June 29, 2013): Mercer Raceway Park lost the June 29 Patriots Night program due to saturated grounds and intermittent showers. Racing will resume on July 6 with the UNOH All Stars Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars. The Bonnell’s Collision Center Outlaw Sprint Warriors, Precise Racing Products Stock Cars, and Eperthener’s Auto Wrecking/Ray’s Racing Collectibles Mini Stocks will also be part of the card. Pizza Joe’s will present a fireworks spectacular as well. All veterans with identification and scouts in uniform will be admitted free! Gates will open at 4 p.m., practice will start at 6:30, and racing at 7.

When did 4 classes become too many on a Saturday night? They didn't purposely schedule against boss, this is a rain date from an All Star date in May. I'm sure they would have avoided the conflict if possible. Would you rather they didn't have a rain date like Lernerville and Sharon when their All Star shows rained out? Keep in mind I'm not blaming Lernerville or Sharon. I don't know who decides rain date polices. Come on though let's not complain when a track and/or series tries to get in the racing it scheduled and the fans expected. I guess you can't please everyone. Whoever is responsible for getting a rain date scheduled, thank you. I'm sure most others appreciate the effort as well.

The Bonnell's Collision Center Outlaw Sprint Warriors and the Eperthener Auto Wrecking / Ray's Racing Collectibles Mini Stocks are the only divisions running for points.

I hope you'll forgive everyone who didn't remember the admission prices from two months ago.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.
