AMP has postponed tomorrow's 410 Sprints race due to the pending weather tonight and tomorrow. Jeff did not want to wait until the last minute due to the travel time of many drivers.
The race will be rescheduled, and as soon as a new date is determined, it will be posted here.

Don't want a lot of people traveling great distances just to get rained on, and the weather looks just crappy for the next couple of days.

Probably nicest day in a week or more. Oh well, tough call. The track has to make a profit and with Iffy weather there may have been a concern for both fan and 410 turnout.

was in clearfield not even 5 mins from the track till 7:30 and nothing but a very brief, light, drizzle

My guess is he was worried with the big payout not getting enough cars and fans...Id bet this race will never be rescheduled..Probably nicest day in a week or more. Oh well, tough call. The track has to make a profit and with Iffy weather there may have been a concern for both fan and 410 turnout.

The race WILL be rescheduled and the rain all week clogged the drains with clay, and the forcast called for 70 percent rain, and it did rain Wednesday night, everywhere I was and I know it also rained at the track. Was not an easy call to cancel that far in advance, but it's best to not drag people from four states in the weather looks bad. A new date for the race should be announced this weekend.

I don't see where he said anything about 4 states away. He said from four states. Possibly Pa, Ohio, NJ, WV but that would be my guess.
