Thanks again Gene for the Old newspaper clippings , the one at Mercer with Jan Opperman and Kenny Weld brings back memoties. I can't remember what year it was but I was there. Those were the days of the 100 lappers that brought cars from all over. If I remember right those events paid $5000 to win in the early 70's. There were 2 drivers from the San Francisco area , Roger Abbott and Jimmy Boyd who ran here in that time period, both black cars # 5 and # 13 I believe were their numbers. Thanks again for the memories.

i would love to see all of your pics of the 333, ron sr. is my grandfather. unfortunatly im not old enough to see him race in his hayday, heard many stories however. i did get to see him drive at the end of his career.
