Rumor has it Mercer has been cancelled for Saturday? Seems to me its falling apart little by little.
Yeah, Mercer confirmed thismorning that that Fastrak is off the card and the stocks were put in their place. I'm sure the RUSH race at PPMS caused this to happen.

Mercer prolly would have had about 15- 18 cars and PPMS about 25-30 if they had both ran..

Mercer mentioned that Fastrak pulled the date. It seems it was more a matter of a case of Fastrak's asshole puckering up because of the race at PPMS than Mercer's. I tend to agree that PPMS was going to get more cars the whole time, but that Mercer would have had enough for an interesting enough show (considering Marion Center is off this weekend, and those Fastrak crates would have likely gone to Mercer), but without sanctioning it's a no-win for Mercer.

Fastrack Started Crate Racing Sanctioning ! They upheld their rules and stuck to them like noone else .RUSH is the " put the money in my pocket Its just as good " Sanction that popped up off the back of Fastrack .. Might as well use the Green Alien as the RUSH mascot . But Fastrtack will be around allot longer than RUSH .. My guess is that RUSH will last as long as the UFO did .. a few years ..I read just recently that RUSH was falling apart. I guess pretty soon we will have neither sanction around next year. I don't think either one will survive without scheduling around each other. This split has been a bad deal. No matter how you look at it.

If both sanctions were smart Rush would have the north and Fastrack would have the south, then in the fall have a 3 day event and a neutral track to have the "Civil War.
That's actually quite brilliant. I don't know if egos would let it work, though.
The Civil War thing could be cool, too. Have it it at a track like Winchester, Virgina Motor Speedway, or Potomac that sits kinda right in between the north and south.

Thats a Great Idea !Mike and Vicki are doing an awesome job with the Rush Series, they have pulled together so many sponsors for the series and as a driver if i have a question about the schedule, rules, etc i get my answer almost immediately. I dont have to wait for some guy in georgia to answer the questions. Rush officials and directors are here for the drivers and teams, never had an issue with them all year. Rush is going to be the dominate crate series of the Northeast. If both sanctions were smart Rush would have the north and Fastrack would have the south, then in the fall have a 3 day event and a neutral track to have the "Civil War." IDK what everyones deal is with Rush besides they have pulled together a better program and schedule for the crate division in the Northeast

If I'm not mistaken...Max won a Super Late Model race at Marion Center a few weeks ago...and Pegher has a few to his name as well...with one coming recently at Lernerville and I believe previously at PPMS...so for the relatively few times these two have been behind the wheel of a super late...they've done very well.

Pegher is a good driver in any class and he works for what he has . Max blair on the other hand I hear he would rather chase little girls around and let daddy keep his race car going for him! Whats he gonna do when daddys not there to do everything for him? Maybe he can get his old job back pumping gas .Pegher can do it against some good drivers in supers! Max not so much!
