Prayers for the Kids Club Leaders requested Mrs. Jess Kennedy lost her father after a very difficult time of health problems his name is Paul Mabry and he along with his daughter was a big race fan. Don and Jess can be found every Sat. night in the large golf cart in the pits, the drivers are so good with them as the take the kids to get autographs. This is not a paid job they do this because they love the racing family,a note to them or a word of kindness is in order at this time.
Calling hrs will be at the John Flynn funeral home in Sharon on Friday afternoon and service Sat. at 1:00 at Flynns.
God bless

Even Though I don't get to attend Mercer on a regular basis, I think It's an awesome thing having the kids club! It's about making memories for the kids based around this sport we love!
Prayers to Mrs. Kennedy and her family!!

animalgfx, I couldn't agree more! Some of my son's fondest memories of his time as a kid at Lernerville was riding the bus through the pits and doing some of the crafts that the gang from their kids club did. And while the experience didn't make a racer out of him, he is now an occasional cameraman for the Open Throttle 360 TV program.
Our prayers go out to the family for their loss.
