Very sad news!!!! Putsy Kekich was a front runner during the era when the likes of Blaney, Quarterson, Wise, Cochran and Linder won most of the Sprint Car races on western PA tracks. Still Putsy was right there recording at least 15 Sprint Car wins at Lernerville, Mercer, Tri-City and Jennerstown along with some Modified wins as well. He will not be forgotten!!! R.I.P. Putsy!!

Why do I like racing ? Well the colors are bright and there is a lot of movement, so it holds my attention.

Thoughts and prayers to the entire Kekich family. Every time you saw Putsy at the races or at racers flea markets, both you and Putsy started to smile because you knew it was another good time in the works. Sure going to miss that smile and friendship. RIP Putsy.

We surely lost a remarkable person! I will never forget how he always made it a point to seek me out in the pits to offer words of encouragement when I was getting started. Prayers to the Kekich family!
