I’m estimating they get close to 50 sprint cars but not less than 45, give or take a few local cars. Would love to see 50 but it will most likely be just under. Rumor is Kyle Larson might show up also. That would be pretty cool. I’ve been lucky enough to see him race a sprint car 3 or 4 times and it’s always exciting to watch. I know Smoke and Kahne have showed up for the silver cup in the past but who knows. I don’t think Rick Hendrick is too big on Kahne running sprint cars these days. Smoke destroyed a car Saturday night at Eldora so I’d say it’s a crap shoot if he shows up. Either way we’re in for a great night of racing with the Outlaws, All Stars, Locals, and some guys from out East. This is easily in my top 3 favorite races of the year. Can’t wait!

Stuart Williams?
The Williams I had listed was Eric. I would think he'd be there but I don't know for sure or have any confirmation. Don't know about Stuart Williams. I was surprised he wasn't at Eldora Friday or Saturday.

Pretty sure Wimmer, Helms,, and Sheldon Haud are a no go as well. Ellenberger hasn't raced since he left the track that one night so who knows with him? Maybe Dave Blaney? I don't see TK on that list and I imagine he'll be there unless I missed something. No williams, kuriger or priester, Tony Stewat is running a 360 race tonight, Hopefully Larson and Shane Stewart show up though,

Why does there always have to be one negative nancy? Not trying to rain on anyone's parade here but, Mother Nature just left Twinsburg, Ohio heading generally southeast.
I will be monitoring the weather until time to leave.

Not being a "Negative Nancy", just speaking the truth. We had Thunder, lightning and a torrential downpour. I am still hoping things clear up and I don't waste a 2 1/2 hour drive again like I did for the Friday part of the Firecracker. I did come back on Saturday. And yes, I realize I could have gotten a motel room.
Right now the radar looks like the rain will miss the track. Really hoping to see a good show tonight.

Just looking at the Butler radar they are getting storms just off to the west of Lauraville and after that looking good we had heavy storms up here in Mercer County heading that way that looks like they're going to stay west of the Sarver ovalNot being a "Negative Nancy", just speaking the truth.
