They actually claim the smack is better for short tracks because its able to drive up off the corner harder without the momentum a big track provides.Sounds like the Gen X might be the better choice for short tracks with loading the front end heavy while Braking.

That's what I was reading about them before and makes sense, Wonder how much better the Smack hooks up on short tracks? Must be significant. but is it significant enough to offset the drive-ability of the Gen X ? that is the question? They actually claim the smack is better for short tracks because its able to drive up off the corner harder without the momentum a big track provides.

Those mbh cars are gen xtras , that was actually Huey's idea ....All the top Mastersbilt guys have been in Gen-X cars for a couple years now, so I would probably go with the Gen X.

Anyone have experience with both Mastersbuilt chassis designs, considering the purchase of a Mastersbuilt chassis but not sure on Gen X or Smackdown, been doing some reading and what I have read the Gen X Drives handles and steers much better in the front end but the Smackdown has better forward bite on the rear of the car? Going to running smaller tracks 1/4 & 3/8 mile maybe an occasional trip to some bigger tracks. Looking for some feedback that will help decide which one might be best. Hoping to get feedback from someone who has driven both.
Will you be on open tires or spec/hard tires?
That is the true deciding factor.
What cars are you running now/have you run?
