The only good thing about this race was Chris Bowe making his first ever start. He's a crew guy for Holtgraver and was in a cap henry backup car.

We need a driver nickname for @ChrisBowe2 now. Thoughts?

Craigory Mintz ‏@CraigMintz09
I am putting my money on @ChrisBowe2 to get the victory tonight with the @ASCOC

Sprint Updates™ ‏@Sprint_Updates
Dale Blaney wins the ASCoC feature. Great top 10 for @ChrisBowe2!!

Roddy Bellbowen ‏@roddy7n
@ChrisBowe2 will you have shirts available after the race?

Best of all is his announcing sheet

The ppms all star wasnt a real all star race. And I don't think Minnesota has many local sprint cars to draw from

That wasn't an All Star race. It was a Midwest All Stars race. 2 different sanctions.

From what I read is Hibbing is absolutely out in the middle of nowhere in terms of sprint cars and the closest teams are 3 hours away. Not exactly ideal for a Tuesday.

They actually had 24 cars at the show last year on the same date so not sure what happened. Nonetheless Dale Blaney gets his 98th career All Star win tying Kenny Jacobs for the most all-time.

something happened with the payout last year. I vaguely recall it but don't remember the specifics. So maybe nobody wanted to tow back with the risk they wouldn't be paid.

Like I said, I don't recall exactly. Somebody said something on hoseheads last night about it and it brought something back but I don't remember what the deal was. Can't imagine it was on the All Star end, otherwise guys like Dobmeier that ran that race last year wouldn't have ran at Husets Sunday.
