Amazing based on his experience in NASCAR trucks, or his experience at Eldora?
based on brad being the tech guy letting him slide with some extra HP.

Dandy's success on that kinda surface had nothing to do with HP and everything to do with traction control. I sat in turn 4 at TCS for a York race one night listening to his motor stumble nearly 1/2 way tot he flag stand only to clear up and run to the next corner on a shiny track......Mark Davis' wonderful product hard at work.
you are really close with your thoughts ----but it wasn't Davis traction control it was natural traction control
it is electrical but not the way you think
his ass sends a signal to his brain and his brain sends a signal to his foot
the stumbling motor came from 1/4 throttle on alcohol

His name is Shannon Davis first off ... And if he was using one of those you wouldn't have been able to hear it and there's a reason you haven't been hearing about TC lately .... It doesn't work !!Dandy's success on that kinda surface had nothing to do with HP and everything to do with traction control. Yeah, traction control usage on dirt isn't nearly as rampant as people like to think. A lot of times, it's counterproductive to speed because sometimes you gotta break traction to get the car to turn. I know of at least 3 drivers that tried it and hated it.

I know a guy that used it and was unstoppable in a super stock, not sure of what kind of TC he was using, but it worked great just bout everywhere he went.Yeah, traction control usage on dirt isn't nearly as rampant as people like to think. Something with wheel speed sensors and the ability to control throttle position and actuate rear brakes independently would probably work well but would never be able to be hidden. Just because the guy had it on his car doesn't mean that's why he won . It's like saying he had Ohlins shocks implying he wouldn't have won on integras.I know a guy that used it and was unstoppable in a super stock, not sure of what kind of TC he was using, but it worked great just bout everywhere he went.

i'm not directly saying that's why he won, but he did have it on his car, and he would run away from everyone and anyone. im talkin half a track or more. he's a hell of a wheelman don't get me wrong, but it had to have helped him.Something with wheel speed sensors and the ability to control throttle position and actuate rear brakes independently would probably work well but would never be able to be hidden.
