Thirty years ago....Norm was the man on dirt at Pittsburg and Motordrome! He drove the Randy Vasko auto sales 11 If I remember correctly! It was the Former Chetter Johnson owned Rayburn that Blackie campained for a couple seasons! He was allways fast ! Which allways makes me wonder how he can be a Nascrap Field Filler???

Yes, Norm, Jr. got hot at PMS, but only for one season. He won 4-5 races with that #11 car one year in the 1980s when I was announcing at Pittsburgh. I don't think he ever won again, but would have to check my old records to be sure!! Walt

Gale Powley still is one of the top cylinder head guys in the business, and he has been for 35+ years, since his days at B&H and Becker. Norm Benning.... absolutely no comment.
